Legendary boxing champion Frank Bruno MBE will be the special guest at a spectacular charity casino night in Northampton next week.The former Heavyweight Boxing Champion will be signing autographs and answering questions at The Diamond on Fire Casino Night on Thursday April 23 at Aspers in Commercial Street.
Mr Bruno said: "All profits from the evening go to Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance which is a vital service that saves lives. I am very happy to come along to this event and support this extremely good cause."
The special party will include a champagne reception, buffet, comedian, singer and games demonstrations. There will also be a charity auction with fantastic prizes including a holiday, balloon flight, heliflight and a signed Saints shirt.
Another highlight will be a prize draw to win a stunning diamond retailing at £ 7,000 which has been donated by Steffans The Jewellers of Abington Square.
Tracy Grunwell, Fundraising Manager for the WNAA said: "We are absolutely delighted that Frank Bruno is coming along to this special night. We are very grateful that he is supporting us in this way and hope that lots of people will come along to see such a great sports personality."
The WNAA provides an emergency medical service for Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Milton Keynes. Their aircrafts transport casualties to hospital and get senior doctors to incidents as quickly as possible, providing lifesaving treatment and medication at the scene and en-route to hospital.
