Thursday 23 April saw Aspers Casino play host to a fabulous evening of entertainment to support the Air Ambulance topped off by boxing legend Frank Bruno (pictured left with Steffans staff, Jennifer Ashby, Emily Johnson and Victoria Stevenson)Over one hundred guests were welcomed with a glass of champagne, including Saints Rugby stars Bruce Reihana, Juandres Kruger and Dylan Hartley, before enjoying a gourmet buffet, an entertaining Q & A session with the boxing superstar, hosted by BBC Radio Northamptons DJ John Griff, comedian Phil Butler, a fabulous auction and of course, plenty of time to chance their luck on the tables.
There was also the opportunity to win a £7.5k diamond, courtesy of Steffans Jewellers, and in a lucky twist, the winner generously donated the diamond to the air ambulance which was auctioned and bought for an amazing £4k.
All told, this fabulous event raised an amazing £6,703 to help keep the ambulance flying.
