Last night Steffans Jewellers attended the Northampton Saints End of Season Dinner as proud sponsors of the Supporter's Player of the Year, Player's Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year.
The event took place at the home of the Saints, Franklin's Gardens, and the atmosphere was electric following the Saints win over Saracens to book their place in the Aviva Premiership Final against Leicester Tigers on the 25th May. All the players were dressed to the nines for an evening of awards, music and dinner hosted by TV Sports Presenter John Inverdale.
With the night in full swing, the awards ceremony got under way with Samu Manoa picking up Player's Player and Supporter's Player of the Year. Steffans Jewellers provided a stunning TAG Heuer Watch as part of the award and Manoa gave an entertaining speech on acceptance.
Additional awards went to Tom May, for Try of the Season, and to Jamie Elliot who deservedly was named Young Player of the Year. Both players receiving G-Shock Watches again provided by Steffans Jewellers.
Players were also awarded with caps or cufflinks for surpassing 50 or 100 club caps presented to them by Saints Chairman Leon Barwell, and a special award for Soane Tonga'uiha who cracked 200 appearances this season.
Steffans Jewellers are looking forward to attending the Aviva Premiership Final at Twickenham, and we will be running a competition, not to be missed, at the end of the week.
