Steffans Jewellers obtained two tickets to give the opportunity for a lucky winner to experience what could be a great day for the Saints. Paul Cushing and his son Reece (pictured left) took the trip down to London with high spirits and the confidence that the Saints were about to make history.
Unfortunately it all went wrong right from the start with the Saints going behind early on, with the departure of captain Dylan Hartley shortly before the end of the first half giving the Saints a mountain to climb. The Saints fought hard and managed to score 2 tries with just 14 men battling on but it was not enough, the final whistle blew and it was all over. Nevertheless Paul and his son enjoyed their day and hope that next year the Saints can move forward and bring home some silverware.
